| Getting to and around the Farm Fair:
Parking SPECIAL
"GUYS NIGHT OUT TOUR " CONCERT with Craig Morgan & Billy
Dean PARKING: Fair Parking Parking is no problem if you just catch the shuttles from the lots to the fair grounds. As parking is on everyone's mind, we will have help for all as we have had in the past, with three onsite lots and a free shuttle service for off-site parking. The on-site lots can hold about 1,000 vehicles, including all handicapped parking, unless it begins to rain, in which case muddy grounds limit the number of on-site spots to about 110. The Red Lot a the recreation complex on Tollgate Road, the Blue Lot at 5the old rubble fill and the Bypass Lot at the Route 1 Bypass will be manned with personnel to assist with parking questions and needs. Off-site parking can be found all four days at Fallston High School and Bel Air High School and after Thursday at the Bel Air Auto Auction. JDT Transportation, Inc. and Anderson Bus Company will provide 12 to 15 shuttle buses, which will begin running at 9 am and will maintain continuous service until the fair closes and the last passenger has been transported. In addition, the Fair provides three tractors that will be pulling "People Movers" from the Red Lot and the Blue Lot beginning at about 7:30 am. These "People Movers" can accommodate about 40 people each along with strollers, coolers and other belongings. The most favorite for parking is off-site locations. One of the best-kept secrets is the Fallston High School complex, which is a short bus ride to the Fair grounds. People drive right by Fallston High on their way to the Fair and then turn around to park in Bel Air when onsite parking is full. It only takes about seven minutes to shuttle from Fallston to the Fair. Remember our goal is to get people in and out quickly and it doesn't cost a red cent! |
