John's love of the river, the music, the lore, customs, heritage,
history, romance and intrigue. Songs like "Old Man River"
, "River Stay Away From My Door ", 'Danny Boy", "Shenandoah"
, "Way Down Yonder In New Orleans", are just a few of the
wonderful Old Standards in his show, as well as numerous original
tunes he has written like "Tom & Huck", "I Got
On My Tall Hat & My Long Tail Coat , "Natchez", "I'll
Meet You By The River" , and many more. Hear the songs of Stephan
Foster "Camptown Races" , "Old Kentucky Home",
"Ring Ring De Banjo" , "Beautiful Dreamer" &
more. Mixing music with stories, He'll tell you about his relationship
with W. C. Handy, Father of the Blues; Louis Armstrong, Dixieland
Great; Uncle Mose; Jean Lafitte, River Pirate; Long John Silver, Pirate;
& Tom & Huck, to name a few. His program has a good mix of
