Fair Parking

NOTICE: Farm Fair Parking is available at the ByPass lot which is located near the fairgrounds; however, it cannot be accessed from the Bel Air Bypass. Travelers heading south on the Bel Air Bypass should exit at 24/924 and head south for one mile on Rock Spring Road, turn right on Vale and follow the signs to enter the Bypass Lot from Vale Road.  Watch for the signs on the Bypass and Vale Road.

Parking is no problem if you just catch the shuttles from the lots to the fair grounds. As parking is on everyone's mind, we will have help for all as we have had in the past, with three onsite lots and a free shuttle service for off-site parking. The on-site lots can hold about 1,000 vehicles, including all handicapped parking, unless it begins to rain, in which case muddy grounds limit the number of on-site spots to about 110.

The Blue Lot at the old rubble fill and the Bypass Lot will be manned with personnel to assist with parking questions and needs. Both of these lots are free to the public.

Off-site parking can be found all four days at Fallston High School and Patterson Mill School and after Thursday at the Bel Air Auto Auction. JDT Transportation, Inc. and Anderson Bus Company will provide shuttle buses, which will begin running at 9 am and will maintain continuous service until the fair closes and the last passenger has been transported. Be sure to listen for announcements that the buses are leaving.

NEW FOR THIS YEAR: The Red Lot will be used for the 4-H only so as to not damage the Parks and Recreation ball fields. We will open the Blue Lot across the street from the Fair grounds for the public. Same walking or riding the shuttle bus distance from the grounds but necessary to keep the damage to a minimum.

IMPORTANT: We cannot control when lots get filled or it rains. So we ask for your cooperation and understanding. That is the reason we encourage everyone to use the off site parking lots. It is very frustrating to drive to the fair grounds only to find that parking lots are full.

The most favorite for parking is off-site locations. Two of the best-kept secrets is the Fallston High School complex and the new Patterson Mill High School, which are a short bus ride to the Fair grounds. People drive right by Fallston High on their way to the Fair and then turn around to park in Bel Air when onsite parking is full. It only takes about seven minutes to shuttle from Fallston to the Fair and ten from Patterson Mill.

Remember our goal is to get people in and out quickly and it doesn't cost a red cent!
